What do Windows, Ohio’s TechCred Program & Thanksgiving have in common?
They are all topics I want to address in this newsletter! (That was lame, sorry.)
Note: For current and future Windows 11 users, be sure to read item 3 below. There was an update recently that made me lose it for a minute. It’ll either be a mystery solved or a brand new A-ha! for you.

🍂 🍂 🍂 Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours! 🍂 🍂 🍂

I know your time is valuable. That you would take a few minutes to read my ramblings is not something I take for granted. I am thankful for you!

If you employ in Ohio, remember that the final 2023 TechCred application period closes on Thursday, November 30th at 3:00pm. This program directly reimburses Ohio employers – of all sizes, from any industry – up to $30,000 per application period. All our Microsoft training, whether live or via eLearning, qualifies! For more information, you can visit the TechCred page on our site: TechCred – A Better Way To… or contact us to help you make a plan.

With the last Windows 11 update, I immediately found myself missing a button! If you navigate back and forth between folders, there was a handy drop-down button by the backward/forward buttons in Windows. You could just click on it and it would list the recent folders you had opened. You could then pick from the list and get right back to that folder. As I said, there WAS a handy drop-down button. With the new Windows 11 update, the drop-down button is gone. I quickly provided feedback to Microsoft along with many other frustrated users. Microsoft’s response: Right-click on the back button to access your recent folders, the same as you do in Bing, their internet browser to access recently visited sites. Hope that helps!
